We’re hiring a Technical Product Marketing Manager to take the lead on demand generation, technical positioning, and go-to-market execution. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in B2B SaaS marketing—especially developer-focused APIs—and a strong understanding of media processing workflows.
You’ll be responsible for both the strategic planning and day-to-day execution of product marketing, including messaging, automated lead generation, nurturing programs, and conversion paths. You’ll work closely with the founder, product, and engineering to bring Probe.dev to a wider audience and turn interest into adoption.
What You’ll Do
Own and optimize the go-to-market strategy, from positioning to pipeline
Build and manage automated lead generation and scoring systems
Design and implement nurture campaigns and technical onboarding paths
Create content and campaigns targeted at developers, product teams, and media tech buyers
Develop clear messaging and technical collateral for key personas and use cases
Conduct competitive and customer research to inform positioning and product strategy
Partner with sales and product to drive adoption, feedback loops, and growth
Required Experience
4+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 2 years focused on API-first or developer-oriented platforms
Proven track record building and executing lead gen programs using tools like HubSpot, Clearbit, Segment, etc.
Experience with lead scoring frameworks, automated nurturing paths, and attribution modeling
Strong grasp of technical storytelling and value-based positioning for engineering audiences
Hands-on familiarity with media processing tools (e.g., ffmpeg, ffprobe, MediaInfo) and related workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for technical content
Self-starter mindset with experience working in fast-paced, remote startup environments
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field

We’re looking for a pragmatic and curious Software Developer who thrives in building developer-first products and is excited about the challenges of media processing at scale. You’ll work closely with the founder and core engineering team to extend our microservice architecture, build new API endpoints, and contribute to internal tooling that enhances our platform’s performance and reliability.

What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
Integrate and optimize tools like ffmpeg, ffprobe, and MediaInfo in a microservices environment
Collaborate on new features from ideation to deployment
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and platform decisions
Help streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve developer tooling
Work closely with customers (and our founder) to ship impactful improvements fast
Required Experience
3+ years of experience in backend software development
Proficiency in languages like Go, Python, or Node.js
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with Docker, containers, and cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes a plus)
Experience working with media processing tools (e.g., ffmpeg, ffprobe, MediaInfo)
Solid grasp of software testing, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging distributed systems
Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience working on developer-facing products or APIs
Familiarity with ML pipelines or metadata enrichment tools
Contributions to open-source projects, especially in media tech or cloud tools
